L. D. Phillips was born on October 22, 1897
the son of Elmer Eugene Phillips and
Estella Mable Bliss.  On October 25, 1916
in Eaton Rapids, Michigan L.D. married
Cecile Ann Priest.  This photo was taken
on their wedding day.  Cecile was born
on September 6, 1899 the daughter of
Charles Cammullus Priest and Alma An Torrey.
 
 

The photo on the right was taken at the time
of their 50th wedding anniversary.  Cecile and
L.D. were married for 56 years before Cecile
passed away on January 23, 1972.
On April 5,1975 L.D. married Cecile's sister
Elthel May (Priest) Higdon (3/7/1897 - 10/15/1976).
At the age of 84 L.D. passed away on August 8, 1981.
